Meet Toto!

This spirited French Bulldog was the cherished companion of Filoli's founders, the Bourn family. Toto traveled alongside the family across their California homes before finding his permanent place at Filoli. Historic photographs capture him playing on the Bowling Green Lawn with the Bourn grandchildren and exploring the estate grounds. In this beautifully illustrated children's adventure, follow Toto's transformation from city dog to country dog as he discovers new friends along the way. Featuring stunning artwork by Lauren Shallcress and written by Filoli's Director of Collections and Interpretation, Willa Brock, this book is a treasured keepsake for any age.
